Backtagging: Always fine by me, as long as a thread is going somewhere/remains fun for all parties involved. I'm happy with handwaving and time jumping when that's preferred too, so long as it's discussed.

Fourthwall: Damian understands the concept of a multiverse and such, so it wouldn't be hard for him to work around a fourthwall break, if there's a fun reason to do so. Deadpools and such are always fine.

Offlimits: Noncon, animal harm, graphic torture. I'm usually fine with alluded to noncon in backstory, I just don't play it out. While I'm fine with most age-gap, Damian probably won't go for it IC!

Threadhopping: Fine, as long as everyone involved is good with it!

Handwaving: Fine with discussion so we're on the same page.

Assumed CR: Fine in memes where it makes sense! In longer lines or games I prefer to play things out when possible.

In Character

Physical/Mental Contact: Damian has grown up with some contact with the supernatural type abilities, and he's pretty disciplined, so he's not as easy to read his mind as an average human, but it's definitely possible, and I'm fine with it with a heads up!

Flirting/Affection: There's a very high likelihood he won't notice flirting, and that he'll hiss and complain over general affection. If he DOES notice he may well mock for being ridiculous. But yes, by all means. Damian has to know someone well generally before he notices them in a romantic/sexual way enough to be his style of ridiculous about them.

Fighting: This is his love language. Also his hate language. He's always down for a fight.

Injury/Death: He's a Bat, injury and possibility of dying (again) is always there. OOC I prefer death to have a reason/impact, but it's not ruled out.

CRAU/Canon: Damian is mostly comics based and has no in-game history anywhere, and is played from canon. But he does lean toward an older version of the WFA Damian. I mostly use his current background, but comics are comics - part of being a comics fan is ignoring swaths of canon you hate/that don't make sense/that you haven't seen. So I do my best, but am happy to adjust things to better fit a line.

Details

Personality: Damian is, mostly, stiffly formal, varying amounts of violent, and extremely judgmental. He's also very loyal to those who earn his trust, caring - in his extremely aggressive way - and trying to be a better person than he was raised to be. There are frequent setbacks.

He loves animals and his father's habit of adopting strays manifests in Damian being very likely to want to take home any animal he sees - though he'll only keep them if it's in their best interest. He rehomes or finds places for any animals not appropriate as pets. (Drug lords who keep large cat or the like as impressive pets he makes sure they go to an appropriate zoo or rescue and then hounds the facility that takes them in for updates.)

Damian's upbringing meant that making connections to other people and expressing emotions other than anger or disdain isn't always easy for him. It's not really his family's strongest gift either, so he struggles, but he's improved and does have genuine friends (a few) and has bonded with his family, to varying degrees.

His first instinct is still usually to lash out or go on the attack - physically or verbally - when he's hurt or defensive. But he tries to overcome it. Most of the time. Sometimes. There is minimal stabbing comparatively. He has a good mind for plans, strategy, and investigation, but he's also more than a little reckless and has a hell of a temper. So whether he'll stick to a plan or just charge in is always a little bit of a coin toss.

He's a nosy little fucker who has opinions on everyone's lives, but Will get irritated by anyone else expressing the slightest opinion on his. He's very, very good at a lot of things, but he tends to be not quite AS good as he believes he is, and will smart for a long time after he finds that out.

Skills: While Damian boasts about his skill and can be a little overstated about it, he has trained since he was excessively young in all manners of martial arts, weaponry, and skills, and only learned more since he met his father. While Cassandra will likely always hold the title for the most lethal of the Batfamily, Damian is likely to be second after another growth spurt or so.

Damian is also a skilled artist who enjoys sketching and painting and has begun to spend more time with it as he gets older. He has his father's intellect and ability to observe and connect clues, and his early training combined with his current training left him with an ability to be silent and stealthy. (This is not a skill he always bothers with now.)

In theory he is a skilled driver and can pilot small aircraft and helicopters. In practice no one who is not invulnerable really likes to risk letting him. He speaks several languages, and can fluently insult people in all of them.

Appearance: Damian gets his darker skin tone, green eyes, and cheek bones from his mother and his black hair, stubborn chin, and bullheadedness from his father. While hope springs eternal, he has yet to show signs of his father's height or build, and is instead slimmer built and still short. He tends toward a more formal style of dress, when out in the world, but has loosened up a bit recently. He's still a snob about things he considers messy though. There is literally always at least three weapons of some kind on him, but in civilian clothing they are well hidden. (If a PB is used, I would generally use Aremis Knight, unless played older/younger.)

Shipping & Canon

OTP/NoTP: My OTP is Jon/Damian, for him, but I'm open to crosscanon or other options! My NoTP's are basically just Dick/Bruce/Jason/Talia. Though I'd love gen/family time lines with any of them, in any version. In general I'd love those kinds of lines as much as I would shippy lines for him, or to play those alongside the ship. I'm happy to play against any other version of the DC characters too, I'm not picky!

Canonpoint: Ehhhh .... /handwave. In general, I set him after his departure from Teen Titans and around the start of the Robin series, so he hasn't necessarily seen people that recently to more easily mesh in with other character timelines/versions, and have him at fifteenish, which is maybe a year older than he is at that age. But I'm flexible and am happy to play an AU where he had a time travel trip at some point to age him up (He can do it too, Jon), or set it in the future, or whatnot to age up.

Preferences: I usually default to third person, prose, but am happy to style match, and don't mind brackets or present tense. I also do enjoy texting threads.

Availability: Changeable, but willing to backtag. Disability has limited my time for a while, but I'm hoping to be more regular now after some recovery time.
